Youtube is one of the biggest video websites around. Opened a few years back it's goal was to be one of the best video sites around and that is what it accompished. There are billions of videos to watch and many of them are cool. You can even leave comments and rate their videos and even favorite and vlog them if u have a prob. Youtube got big when Google bought Youtube last year for about around 1.8 billion dollars. Downsides for videos is that there is only a 10 min limit to non director, non comedian, non musicians, and non guru users. And that there is a file size limit when uploading videos. But still, Youtube is the best video website!

Now Youtube your standard video site. You can have good music videos on it and parts of favorite shows and movies. Also video yourself and broadcast yourself and make up your own profile.I put a 3 for the rating that would be because alot of Copyright goes on youtube and some bad quality videos.

A very good choice
Definatly a go-go for video viewing, It also has restrictions on the videos that are put up here so adults don't need to worry about adfult content on this site.

Fantastic!
Used for years now, by far the best site for videos. Although Youtube may be making their site rubbish soon. People in the USA only being able to watch FULL MOVIES on youtube, banning music on some videos, and removing most videos, or maybe paying to upload videos. I would make it a 4 1/2, but I can't. so remember, it may not be very good anymore. Sites like dailymotion will still be on, which could be a exclusive replacement for Youtube.
The first time i -EVER- saw it was 4 years ago. My dad told me to go on this weird site called youtube and told me to type something in. The website freaked me out at first.

Hi YouTube is really great for looking up things ur not sure of doing by your self on the computer so i rate it 5/5 when i need help i just go on youtube and type in whatever i need. Then it should come up with a few different things and you click on 1 of them and it will come up and then u just watch.It is also very good for hax (hacking or cheating) because people like putting viodes of them hacking on different games like Halo 3 and Brawl (SSBB) so its the best

Youtube è un sito che dovrebbe essere LIBERO!!!!!! Non devono più esserci quei dannati controlli sul copyright! Se io voglio pubblicare un animevideo con una canzone non lo posso fare, se voglio metterci una canzone modificata non lo posso fare, se voglio metterci il filmato della fine di un gioco non lo posso fare manco a scopo informativo... Only just slightly overrated
YouTube is mostly dependable, and has a really great variety of available videos. The only downside is that the site is known for taking down videos due to copyright infringement pretty regularly. So a video that may be up today may not be up tomorrow.

The video and sound quality on youtube is terrible and the majority of comments are moronic. The average comment goes something like "u suk and i hope u die". The main reasons youtube is so popular is because they don't care about copyright infringement and because they let their users harass the hell out of each other. That and because google make sure there's hundreds of links to youtube videos anytime you search the web for anything, even when you're not even looking for a video.

Trouble downloading YouTube vide
They seem to have changed the site so we can no longer download their videos (flv)s. The update from DownloadHelper helps to a certain extent but I still find that it doesn't detect some of the videos. Is anyone else also goin through a similar problem?

www.youtube.com is filtered here but my browser can access it without www (http://youtube.com) so while I can watch my clips can't download it via DownloadHelper. I tried to find the URL it uses for downloading and remove www from beginning of the URL but I did not find this. I think this is a must to be able to edit the reference URL of websites.

it says i downloaded something 240 timews, it updated itself a day earlier and today it decided ( without any anouncement) to play, so i'm wondering. were they expecting a specific sum of money from me or does it automatically stop after a certain period or is it a glitch in the system ? you are left wondering anyhow.

Score another 5 for YouTube
YouTube has a lot of vids on it and a lot of people put up their own videos, so it's corny too. You can find some real gems there, but everyone thinks they are funny or great, so using those as keywords will get you a lot of crap. I still enjoy it more than other sites because of the corny factor, because I'm corny also.

You tube is best because of the amount of cool videos you can download and share with your friends. And I usually download the flv's for posting on my website on an flv player. go to www.yosef.us non-flash version and videos to look at it.
